Evaluations
Our team utilizes a variety of evaluations based on individual needs. Evaluations typically consist of a combination of interviews, observations, and assessments. Some common assessments that may be used are Functional Behavior Assessments and Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Plan. Evaluations are used to create goals for each indivudal and contribute to their Positive Behavior Support Plan or IEP.
Classroom Consultation
We consult with schools to promote a positive learning environment and reduce challanging behaviors. At Growth Spurt, we value collaboration and working as part of the school team! We work with both brick and mortar schools and cyber schools.
Art Based ABA
At Growth Spurt we are proud to offer this specialized form of aba therapy using the canvas curriculum. Art- based aba therapy utilizes enjoyable creation with individuals of all ages. Some benefits include enhancing psychological flexibility, identifying emotions, boosting creativity, and emotional regulation. Art is in the world all around us, consisting of an abundance of stimuli for us to interact with. Art-based aba is routed in the evidence based practives of relational frame theory and acceptance and commitment therapy.
Teletherapy
Growth Spurt offers telehealth therapy and consultation services. These completely online sessions are tailored to fit individual needs and offer flexbility.
